Directions
Los Alamos is right off of the 101 approximately 10 minutes south of Orcutt/Santa Maria and 20 minutes north of Buellton.
Take 101 to Exit 154 for Vandenberg AFB/Los Alamos. Head West, then make immediate right toward downtown Los Alamos. Turn left at the flagpole in the middle of the street (Centennial). School is three blocks down on the left. Additional parking is behind the school..
Additional Information
This event is open to the general public and to the media.
Performance Rounds will be held in the gym; judging will be in the library and science room.
Three optional judging sessions (Project, Robot Design and Core Values) will be scheduled before, between or concurrent with the performance rounds. Teams may go directly from one activity to the next.
Picnic/eating areas are available onsite and nearby. Fast food options are limited, so it is strongly suggested to pack a lunch for your party. A separate luncheon will be provided for tournament volunteers, judges and referees.
A document with detailed tournament logistics will be distributed to teams about one week before the event.
