Kickoff Events

Helping teams get off to a good start for the 2009 Smart Move Challenge.

Coach Training Events

Coaches of teams that received Rockwell Collins New FLL Team Grants are required to attend a coach training event. 80% of the training fee for October events will be paid by Rockwell Collins.

Local Events

Each team is encouraged to attend a local event.
Teams may attend more than one local event if space is available.

Qualifying Events

Teams may only attend one Los Angeles Region FLL qualifying event.
Teams that attend qualifying events or championship events in other regions are not eligible to attend Los Angeles Region FLL qualifying events.

Championship Event

About 25% of teams that attend qualifying events will advance to the championship event.

For each event, each team needs four copies of a team photo to complete four copies of the 2009 FLL Team Information Sheet (also known as the Profile form)

For each event, each team participant needs to complete and sign the
2009-10 FIRST Consent and Release Form or the
2009-10 FIRST Consent and Release Form - Spanish

For each event, the coach needs to sign the
2009 FLL Coach's Promise
