Directions

Los Alamos is right off of the 101 approximately 10 minutes south of Orcutt/Santa Maria and 20 minutes north of Buellton. Google directions: *Take exit 154 for CA-135 toward Los Alamos/Vandenberg AFB, go 0.2 mi *Turn right onto CA-135 N/Foxen Ln, go 79 ft *Slight right onto Bell St, go 0.5 mi *Turn left onto Centennial St, go 0.3 mi Destination will be on the left.

Additional Information

This event is open to the general public and to the media. The event will be held in the Multiuse Room. Audience seating will be on benches, so guests planning to stay for the entire event may want to bring seat cushions. Each team’s four performance rounds will be spaced 40-60 minutes apart. The three judging sessions (Project, Robot Design and Core Values) will be scheduled before, between or concurrent with the performance rounds. Teams may go directly from one activity to the next. Picnic/eating areas are available onsite and nearby. Fast food options are limited, so it is strongly suggested to pack a lunch for your party. A separate luncheon will be provided for tournament volunteers, judges and referees. A document with detailed tournament logistics will be distributed to teams and posted on the website shortly after registration closes.
