Directions
Exit 101 (Venutra Fwy) Freeway at Winnetka Ave. From northbound, turn right, from southbound, turn left (south) 1.5 mile to Vanowen St. Turn right (west) .2 miles to Oakdale Ave. Turn left (north) 358 feet to the school on your left. Park on the playgournd, in the staff parking lots, or on the street. Those parking on the playground should be careful not to block other vehicles and to stay clear of the basketball poles.
Additional Information
This event is open to the general public and to the media. The event will be held in the gymnasium, and the pit area will be in the adjacent foyer room. Audience seating will be on bleachers. Guests planning to stay for the entire event may want to bring seat cushions.
This event has a capacity of 24 teams.
Each team’s four performance rounds will be spaced 40-60 minutes apart. The three judging sessions (Project, Robot Design and Teamwork) will be scheduled before or between the performance rounds. Teams will often go directly from one activity to the next.
Lunch and snacks will be available for purchase. A separate luncheon will be provided for tournament volunteers, judges and referees.
A document with detailed tournament logistics will be distributed to teams and posted on the website shortly after event registration closes.
