Body Forward -- Engineering Meets Medicine
Can Junior FIRST® LEGO® League Teams improve our quality of life? Through the 2010 Body Forward™ Challenge, 6 to 9 year olds will explore the cutting-edge world of Biomedical Engineering to discover innovative ways to repair injuries, overcome genetic predispositions, and maximize the body's potential, with the intended purpose of leading happier and healthier lives.
Schedule
Team registration opens, base kit ordering begins, and Challenge released on August 2, 2010.
Team registration closes April 30, 2011.
Costs
Team Registration costs $25.00.
Jr.FLL Base Kit (for beginning teams) costs $139.95.
Jr.FLL Plus Kit (for advanced teams) costs $169.95.

Teams are encouraged to organize their own events to share their work with their local communities.

In addition to the formal Jr.FLL events listed above, many of the Los Angeles Region FLL Qualifying Tournaments and the Championship Tournament can provide informal opportunities for Jr.FLL teams to exhibit.
